An artist for over 17 years, I began painting as a deeply personal response to the loss of my younger sister. What started as a way to process grief evolved into a lifelong creative journey. Early works in acrylic and oil often reflected darker tones and introspection, gradually giving way to lighter palettes and more varied subject matter.
After years of working in oils, I discovered a more intuitive approach through loose watercolour on canvas. Its fluidity and spontaneity resonated with my temperament, allowing for both control and freedom.
Inspired by time spent in nature, particularly among trees, my work focuses on creating atmospheric pieces that evoke calm and stillness. Through my paintings, I aim to offer viewers a quiet moment of reflection and a sense of peace in a fast-paced world.
Through my atmospheric watercolours, I seek to capture moments of stillness—spaces for reflection, emotional release, and calm. In an increasingly fast-paced world, my intention is to offer the viewer a pause: a gentle invitation to breathe, to reconnect, and to experience a sense of quiet restoration.
